ABOUT THE STONE

Emerald is the May birthstone, prized for its luxurious, heirloom quality and timeless elegance. Its rich green colour is associated with royalty, abundance and the beauty of nature. It is thought to symbolize growth, renewal, and lasting devotion.

GOLD-FILLED

There are many types of gold jewelry: gold-plated, gold vermeil, gold-filled and solid gold.

Gold-filled pieces are made of a thick gold layer bonded to a base metal. The durability, beauty and water-resistance is similar to solid gold at a more affordable price. The gold layer in these pieces must make up 5% or 1/20th of the weight of the item, which is strictly regulated. To ensure a piece is authentically gold-filled, these pieces will have a marking such as "1/20 14K GF". We only use trusted suppliers for our gold-filled components, so you can be sure these pieces are genuine and will truly last!

Gold-filled jewelry will not tarnish or wear off easily like thin gold plating. It can be worn swimming, washing hands or showering. To ensure longevity, ensure to rinse off soaps, sweat or saltwater and avoid harsh chemicals like chlorine which can damage pieces over time.

BRACELET SIZING

How to Measure:

• Using a flexible measuring tape, wrap the tape around your wrist where you normally wear bracelets. Make sure it is snug, but not tight, and note the measurement in inches.
• Alternatively, you can wrap a string around your wrist, mark where the ends meet and then lay the string flat and measure with a ruler.

Sizing Guide:

• For a snug fit, add 1/4 to 1/2 inch to your wrist measurement.
• For a comfortable fit, add 1/2 to 1 inch to your wrist measurement.
• For a loose fit, add 1 to 1 1/2 inches to your wrist measurement.
